How it works?
The diagram on the left shows a fairly typical installation.
The principal is the same as for a Solar Hot Water System but using a high quality purpose designed swimming pool heat exchanger instead of a Solar Hot Water Cylinder.
The Solar Controller takes care of everything automatically including the swimming pool pump / filtration system.
All you have to do is enjoy your heated pool.
The same system can be used to supply Domestic Hot Water as well which is highly recommended - Ask us how !
The purpose designed Swimming Pool Heat Exchanger
These are manufactured from very high quality Titanium which gives them a virtually infinite lifespan.
Titanium is an ideal material for Swimming Pool Heat Exchangers as it is impervious to fluctuations in pH levels.
The heat exchanger can be used in chlorine water, seawater or therapeutic and spa pools.
The picture on the left shows the Pool Heat Exchanger (the Green tube) fitted in a vertical orientation in this instance.
Please note: the use of a high quality solar cover is recommended at all times whilst the pool is not in use. Most heat is lost at night through evaporation so always keep your pool covered when possible.
